I've just spent five nights at Baan Rom Mai Resort, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location was ideal for me, being close to the beach and not too far from the bustling Chaweng area, although the walk took about 10-15 minutes. The staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating, which enhanced my stay. However, my room, while clean, lacked some basic toiletries that would have made it feel more welcoming.
